Serum amino acid profile in chronic sinusitis

Objective: Serum amino acid profile is known to vary in many diseases. The changes the serum provide important information about diseases and effectiveness of treatment. aim this study investigate whether acids are effective development CRS. 
 Methods: A total 23 healthy volunteers between ages 20 40 years were allocated control group (Group 1) 27 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis 2). whose history, symptom, examination findings consistent sinusitis who also had on a paranasal sinus tomography diagnosed for at least one year included Group 2. 32 serum-free levels measured both using LC-MS/MS system. In study, JASEM kit was used analysis. Results: taurine level found be statistically significantly lower 2 compared 1 (p:0.002). significant alteration not observed remaining 31 acids. Conclusion: According data we obtained from decreased may factor etiopathogenesis therefore supplementation considered as new therapeutic target treatment rhinosinusitis.
